Special Agent David Barnes has been with the Federal Bureau since 1991. The FBI's Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) has certified SA Barnes as a Forensic Examiner for the past 8 years. Prior to working for the FBI, SA Barnes worked as a computer programmer and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio.
SA Barnes has completed training for Forensic Tool Kit (FTK) by Access Data, Advanced Data Recovery Course (ADRA) by the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C), Unix forensics by the FBI, and the ILook software package.
Mr. Ervin "Skip" Burnham, is concurrently an Investigator for the Montgomery County Coroner's Office and Network Administrator for the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory (MVRCL) and has over twenty-eight years of law enforcement experience. Mr. Burnham has served as the Network Administrator of the MVRCL computer network for the past eight years and has successfully completed courses relating to Microsoft NT, 2000 Server, SQL Server, Systems Management Server (SMS). Mr.Burnham was awarded an Associates of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Burnham has been involved in computer forensics since 1999 and successfully completed a course in the use of ILook sponsored by OHTCIA. In October of 2004 Mr. Burnham received his A+ and Net+ certifications. Mr. Burnham received his Computer Analysis and Response Team (CART) certification in February, 2005
Detective Doug Roderick has been with
Dayton Police Department since 1991.
He has been a detective since 1997.
Detective Roderick is currently the computer crimes specialist for the
Dayton Police Department.
Detective Roderick also teaches a computer crimes class for Sinclair Community College in their law enforcement program.
